YHMP

(Yorkshire & Humber Microgeneration Partnership)

Conference and Awards 11th February 2010

A new dawn for Microgeneration beckons in 2010 with the introduction of the
Clean Energy Cash Back scheme. This will reward householders, businesses,
communities and public bodies with a special tariff for electricity
generated from renewable sources.

Will the Yorkshire and Humber region be ready to take advantage of this new
opportunity and reap the rewards of increased investment, new income
streams, new jobs and skills, cleaner energy and lower carbon emissions?

The Yorkshire and Humber Microgeneration Conference & Awards lead by the
Yorkshire and Humber Microgeneration Partnership supported by the Energy
Saving Trust will be addressing this question, seeking the views from all
those involved in this fast growing industry and also hearing first hand
experiences of those customers who are already pioneers of Microgeneration
technologies in the region.

Taking place on Thursday 11 February at the Royal York Hotel, York, the
range of influential speakers will be looking at the success of the sector
to date and highlighting examples of best practice in the region. In the
afternoon we'll be examining the barriers to further uptake of renewable
technology, and how these can be overcome.

Speakers include Paul Hudson from BBC Look North. The conference will be
informative/participatory, educational and entertaining for commercial
enterprise, local authorities, government bodies, charitable organisations,
general public and anyone with an interest in carbon reduction and climate
control.

You are invited to attend the conference or even to participate as a valued
sponsor. You may even wish to enter for one of the awards or perhaps you
have something to contribute to our seminars and Industry Briefings?

Eco Heat & Power Ltd, members of YHMP, will be exhibiting and Andrew
Hodchild will be involved with the industry briefings.

This will be a key event and great networking opportunity for the
Microgeneration and Renewable Energy Industry and to this end we have a

very special delegate rate of only £60 to include lunch and dinner.
