Services

We cover installation, service and repair of both the domestic and commercial markets in the following disciplines.

Solar Hot Water Heating (SHW)

System design – We design, supply, or supply & install, domestic hot water systems, swimming pool systems, large commercial systems and systems for manufacturing processes. We use T-Sol, the industry standard software to evaluate your proposed system.
Solar Panels - We supply & install a select range of high quality solar panels, which can be either fitted onto existing roofs or integrated into new roofs. There are three types of collectors – flat plate, vacuum tubes (not suitable for roof integration) and tiles which form a seamless integration into a new roof. We can also design, supply & install systems for flat roofs and facades.
Solar cylinders – We supply & install twin coil copper cylinders and made-to-measure cylinders with triple coils and other bespoke cylinders. We can design copper cylinders for a variety of applications. We also supply & install stainless steel twin coil solar cylinders, all of which can be either vented or un-vented (mains pressure).
Pump stations & controllers - We supply & install a range of solar pump stations and differential
controllers.
Monitoring - We supply & install a range of remote read outs (to help you monitor your system) or links to computers (suitable for educational purposes) and bespoke interpretation.
Pipe & fittings – We supply & install pre-insulated stainless steel solar flexi lines, Sanha HT (high temperature) press fit fittings, rubber lined metal brackets, Tyfocor (solar heating medium), Armaflex HT insulation.
Things to consider
SHW – aspect (azimuth) the deviation from due south and inclination, shading from other parts of the building (chimneys or higher roofs) or from trees and hills
Power & CO2 savings - 1m2 of flat plate panel will generate approximately 500kWh/annum. (Carbon Trust Co2 figures for displacement of different fuels

Solar Electric - Photovoltaic (PV) systems

We design, supply, or supply and install, domestic or commercial systems, either gridconnected or off-grid. We use PV-Syst, the industry standard software to evaluate your proposed system.
We also design, supply & install systems for flat roofs and facades.
Solar Modules - We supply & install a select range of high quality solar modules, which can be either fitted onto existing roofs or integrated into new roofs. There are two types of modules – those suitable for integrating into new roofs and mounting on existing roof or tiles which form a seamless integration into a new roof.
Inverters – We supply and install grid-connected and off-grid inverters.
Monitoring - We supply & install a range of remote read outs (to help you monitor your system) or links to computers (suitable for educational purposes) and bespoke interpretation.
Things to consider

PV – aspect (azimuth) the deviation from due south and inclination, shading from other parts of the building (eg chimneys or higher roofs) or from trees and hills. This is even more important on PV systems because it can reduce the efficiency of the whole array.
Regulations covering grid connection are: G83 for up to 16Amps (3360Wp) per phase, and G59 for ratings above this. All electrical work will be covered by BS7671.
Power & CO2 savings – 1kWp of PV modules will generate approximately 750kWh/annum. (Carbon Trust Co2 figures for displacement of electricity is 0.43kg = 1kWh/annum

Plumbing, Heating & Electrical
Plumbing – We undertake all aspects of plumbing, from simple repairs to complete re-plumbing & bathrooms.
We also specialise in water conservation measures and water recycling systems.
Heating – We cover all types of heating systems: gas, oil and solid fuel. We have a special interest in high efficiency systems using condensing boilers with weather compensation.
Electrical – We undertake all aspects of domestic and light commercial electrical work.

IMPORTANT NOTES
When we are busy we reserve the right to take care of our existing customers and would ask new and potential customers to understand that we will do our best to accommodate your request for advice & assistance.
We do not carry out gas work, which involves taking responsibility for boiler installations, and gas pipe installations carried out by unregistered people.
